Mozarts in the Making

We have a new hobby...yes, Winn is in LOVE with a piano! We have a hip 90's keyboard that he's grown quite addicted to. When he sees it, he "supermans" himself towards it so he can play some sweet jams (good things there's a volume button). I'm sure all babies love music, but this kid's world lights up when he sees or hears anything musical (even my voice). Let's hope this continues and grows into a talent like it did for his Daddy.

As soon as I saw this picture my heart skipped a beat, reminds me of someone I know that loved playing the piano with their grandpa many moons ago :)

My sweet music man. His favorite is when he plays a little number and you dance a little jig. He thinks that is really funny (or maybe it's just my smooth moves...)

ShoSho, we miss you so much. I wish more than anything that you were able to meet my amazing husband and wonderful little boy. I know you would fall in love with them the same way I do every day. Thank you for all the memories, we strive every day to keep them alive through Winston. We love you!!

Sneak Peek...

SUCH a fun memory today!! We finally got around to taking 6 month pictures (oops) and couldn't be happier with how they turned out! We've only gotten a few back, so here are a couple...thank you Andrea Berry for an amazing memory!

He was such a ham today...laughing, smiling, and flirting the entire shoot. I can't imagine loving anything more.

Summer days with The Days!

Dear July,

Can you please go slower than your sister June did?? We are having WAY too much fun and are not even close to being finished!!

My boy and I have been traveling South Carolina for a few weeks now, and loving every second. We’ve been to Greenville, Pawley’s Island, Johnston, and Hartsville. Lots of fun memories have been made, and some of the best have been with The Day’s! Growing up, my brother and I never had cousins near us to spend a lot of time with. We moved around (a LOT) and never seemed to make it close to much family for very long. I’m so happy to say this won’t be the case with little Winn and his cousins! We have really enjoyed our time with sweet Smith and Addison, and look forward to many more memories to come! Here are just a few pics from the hundreds taken.

Winn and Smith, discovering the baby crushes they have on eachother :)
First time seeing the ocean!!

Sweet Addison reading to Winn
Daddy was able to come play with us for a few days while we were in Pawley's
We went to Johnston, SC to visit the entire Day family for the 4th. So much fun and food!!
Not sure, but has anyone seen any fun around here??
Smith and "Baby" were still best buddies, here they are re-kindling their sweet bond.
We love you, Smith and Addison, and look forward to all the fun times ahead! Maybe next visit we won’t need to call 911 so many times :)

Judge For Yourself...

I am aware that my child is a boy, and boys are supposed to look like their daddy. I'm often reminded of how much Winn and Chap look alike, which I love, but I also think there's a little of me in him too...you be the judge :)
