Not sure if anyone else loves the ‘pink sauce’ as much as I do, I truly think it’s one of the best things ever made in all the lands. When I go to Japanese restaurants I can easily go through at least two cups…and then whatever I can sneak from Chap. So knowing I was having a rough day today, my thoughtful husband stopped by the Harris Teeter on his way home to get a yummy dinner to make (yes, I much prefer food over flowers to cheer me up) and he came home with Lee's Tokyo Gourmet Japanese White Sauce. Now, I've been searching on line (to see if there's a chance to purchase this fine product in bulk...) but I can't seem to find it anywhere else??

Next step: to find a similar recipe so we can make this little concoction at home (yes it’s good, but a little pricey…$4.99 per bottle).

I do love it but, it doesn't love me:( I always get sick to my stomach after eating the sauce, probably b/c I eat too much of it:)!!
I absolutely love the white sauce. I don't even get any of the other sauces. I just get them to fill all three of my containers with the white sauce. And then I still end of needing more. I put it on everything!!!!
Man, I love the pink sauce! I love it that you blog about it, you are a woman after my heart. I have not tried that brand of sauce. I will need to try this out. I think I will need to eat this for dinner tonight! Hope that food made your day better.
That sauce is awesome!!! We love that stuff too and I drown whatever I am eating in it. LOL. I will have to see if it is sold anywhere around here. Just thinking about it makes me want Japanese food.

I love it, too--although, I have not eaten any Japanese food in at least 3 years. That's waht happens when you give up eating out. Unless I get a little Japanese guy to move into my galley kitchen for free, I won't be having pink/white sauce any time before 2010. But I'm hungry now, so thanks. ;-)
I wonder why us white folk love that sauce so much??!! I bet the Asians think we're crazy cause it's probably just some mayonaise and water! :-) No, but really, what's in that stuff?? It's wonderful. Now, I'm gonna have to go look it up.
I didn't know there were sooo many fans...I think I should start a business! I'm glad I'm not alone in my journey to obesity though, thanks friends!
Jenn~ You really won't have to go out to eat for this deliciousness anymore...now that you know you can purchase this little piece of heaven, you can make some yummy rice and chicken meals and then douse the sauce on top!
Colly~ Ha! You crack me up…I’m sure the Asians have lots to say about this little obsession. Now I’m actually curious to see how they feel about it?? They can’t be near as passionate…also, I’ve been exploring some recipes on-line and the consistent ingredients I’ve found are mayo, paprika, and sugar….pretty healthy, huh?!
Okay, I obviuolsy don't eat Japanese food enough... really I don't even remember the last time I have. :) Anyway, I have no idea what the "pink" or "whit sauce" is. I am feeling like the only one who doesn't know what it is, but everyone sure has me curious now. :)

I've only heard of the stuff b/c of Steve, McKenzie and Wendy but I've never actually had the stuff. Everyone has me curious though.

yum!! I love the white sauce too!! However, ever third vegtable or so I like to dip in the ginger sauce. I didn't even know they sold it. what a great find.
OK, Is it pink or is it white? If it is the one I'm thinking about, I must be the only person in the world who does not like it. I do love that clear red sauce at the Chinese restaurant though.
