Was anyone else devastated by last night's results show?? I mean, I know there are WAY bigger things going on in the world today to cry about...but today I still feel like crying about this. My favorite girl, Kherington was voted off last night and I found this shocking and devastating. For those of you that don't watch, another girl named 'Comfort' was given a second chance when Jessica was forced to drop out of the competition due to an injury. While I am a huge fan of Comfort, I truly believe they should have brought Thayne back to replace Jessica, simply because he rocks, but that would really mess up the couple situation I suppose. Anyway, Comfort (who is an amazing hip hopper…but that’s about it) managed to bring in more votes than Kherington, who is an extremely talented and diverse dancer that in my opinion did not need to go home yet! Then, to top off the bad news, Gev was also voted off. The sweetest boys who was originally a hip hop dancer, but managed to do learn and do great with every other style of dance he was given.
And what is this ‘IV Real’ business? Has anyone noticed this? While I appreciate the enthusiasm, I am slightly annoyed with how frequent this occurs. I developed my own theory last week and it has to do with the fact that the ‘IV Real’ folks include Comfort, Joshua, Twitch, and Will. Notice any similarities??
With all this said, I guess I have to find some new favorites. While I love Twitch and Josh’s personalities, I think Will is the best technical dancer for the guys. The girls, I don’t really have any favorites now that Kherington is gone. I have really liked all of Katie’s performances, but I think Courtney is my favorite personality (I also really liked her b/c I think her and Gev were in love =)
Ok, sorry for this long entry on a dance show. I’m not sure why I get so involved in this competition, I think it’s because you can really feel their passion and dedication for what they do!! I’m a huge fan! I know I’m not a great dancer or anything, but I swear that after watching this show I have some really fancy moves while brushing my teeth and getting ready for bed!

OKAY...here I go being ghey! I actually didn't watch the results show - i was working - however, I did here Erica's 'gasp'. This is why she was voted off (and believe you me, I REALLY liked her:
1. She got shafted by having to do the "country two step"!, Really!?!?!
2. Tyce screwed them by giving them a boring second dance. He's much better than that crap!
3. I like Mark.... but he's not the best. She suffered from a sub-par partner.
4. And Finally and I think most importantly, you could tell she was starting to think a LOT of herself. She got a little cocky, evident by the little, awkward (albeit hot) booty shake at the end of her solo.
And there you have it! Man... maybe I should start blogging.
Wow, I am impressed!! I agree with you on three out of four, not too bad! She really did get the shaft on those dances, I've never heard Chap laugh so hard at that show as he did during that two step (yes, he watches too...no worries!). It was an awful dance and I really think they should experiment BEFORE the top 10 dancers.
#4 - While I can't say I totally agree with you, I do understand where you are coming from. She was a little sure of herself shaking that bottom all around like that. But if we are going to talk about cocky, wouldn't you say Comfort has been mighty sure of herself from the beginning??

Congratulations on going back to school!! That is awesome!! What are you working towards? I know it can seem overwhelming, but just think about it one class at time. Before you know it you'll be finished, and very proud of yourself!! =)
I could not agree with you more!! I was so sad too. I loved Kherington and Gev. America got it all worng. :) And yes that IV Real thing is getting pretty old as well. Wish I could see your new dance moves!! :)

Y'all talk about these people like you know them, which is amusing...and I am impressed with your use of lingo (hip-hopper, technical dancer, diverse dancer). You sound like a dancer.
I am going, however, to have to file some of Justin's comments under "Things I never thought I'd hear a straight man say" like:

I'm getting my CNA right now. I'll be done with class Aug. 12th and then I have clinicals until the 22nd. After that, I've got a few prerequisits to finish up b/c I only finished 1 year at the University;( and then I will apply for nursing school. Yikes! I'm freaked!!! I can't wait to be done:)

I saw the title of this blog yesterday and had to quickly get away b/c of my love for this show and I had not watched it on the DVR yet due to being out of town. I totally agree with you on everything you had to say. I really didn't expect either of these!! I absolutely hate Comfort, she just looks like she's making fun of dancing when she dances, like we used to do at Scandal's, that's how bad I think she is. Her personality is awkward and overly sarcastic to me and she can not close her mouth when she does her solos which are terrible btw. I believe they brought her back and she took down Kherington...I hate her even more for that. I LOVE Gev. He was amazing. Half the time I can't even remember that Mark guy's name and he's ugly and boring. I never notice his dancing or him in general. HATE these results. I'll say it, The IV Real stuff is racist since they are the only ones that get to say it and wear their "special" T-shirts. Oh, and it's stupid.
You gotta remember though, that most of these viewers are stupid pre-teen girls.....they don't have the greatest attention span....and are definitely not smart enough to base their decision on the whole of the competition. Unfortunately Kherington's dances last week sucked. She most def got shafted. That still doesn't really explain the Gev thing, I just didn't get that. I demand a recount.
I'll just add that I am much in disappointment with the season of this show. I guess I would like Twitch to win b/c he has tried so many times and not given up. Not the best of the dancers....but he wants and deserves it the most I think.

Oh wow, I just have to comment on my shock and disapointment yet again last night on Will going home. He is such a fabulous dancer, I seriously thought he was going to win it all!
I am happy Twitch is still around, I think he's pretty great too!! How about that kiss between him and Katie?? I just watched it last night for the first time and was loving the love!! =)
All I have to say about last night is is WHAT??!! Wow!! What a shocker about Will!! I am glad Comfort is gone though.
Matt and I couldn't believe Will got the boot either! We thought he was definitely in the top 2 males! Mark should have gone

Oh man you guys! I have to stick up for my girl Comfort! I think she was a doll. She was one of my faves. But so was kherington So i shared your sadness. And I agree it was comfort's time to go and she wasn't good at much else, but I loved watching a girl do hip hop as good as she does. And I can't believe Will got voted off now that is horrible. ANd if twitch gets voted off - I might not watch anymore. I said might :)
