And the 'neutral' shopping begins!

Roxanne and I always enjoy our shopping trips to Gaffney any chance we get, but now we have a whole new reason to shop!! I think we've both been waiting a long time for this opportunity so we might have gone a little overboard (Dad, I promise I tried to keep her under control, but she was rather relentless.)
Since Chap wasn't able to come on the baby's first shopping spree (I don't think he's losing any sleep over that one), I laid out all the 'neutral' items on his couch like it was Christmas morning =)

Mom (and Dad), thank you so much for the amazing day! I couldn't have imagined my first baby's shopping spree being any more fun =)

Yay for grandmas and grandpas!!! How fun to go shopping with your mom and get all that cute stuff! I swear the 1st baby is the most exciting b/c of ALL the shopping that HAS to be done;)

Yay! Carters is great they always have great sales. I bought ONE polo for Weston before he was born and I kept looking at it and taking pictures of it. Just that one polo - how stupid am I? So when you think you're getting patheticly excited, just remember, you'll never be as pathetic as me haha :) I am so excited for you!!

Stef~ You should see us, we've already stuffed the onesie's with hand towels and are doing a GREAT job of pretending it's our baby. I've been petting all the clothes and blankets all night, I understand pathetic! =)

Oh my goodness. Don't buy everything, you have to save some stuff for us to buy. How exciting though...I can't wait to see you guys this weekend. How is my little niece/nephew doing?? How are you feeling?

Hahahahaha! That made me laugh so hard - I'm not sure how much that preparation will help, but go for it!!

It only gets better! Roxanne is going to have so much fun shopping for Baby Rollings. Everytime my mom comes into town, she ALWAYS stops by the Gaffney outlets to do a little shopping for Jackson...wink wink...

Punkin, for some reason my post about the shopping trip was posted underneath your blog about your Anniversary -- which was a beautiful blog, by the way, and you couldn'thave married a more wonderful man!!

Anyway, about baby shopping! I absolutely love the pictures! But I really don't think we got enough. We're going to have go back!!

What Heather didn't tell you all was that we were both so emotional about this that as soon as we left Carter's we started crying and hugging right there on the sidewalk!! Thank you, Sweetheart, for giving me the very special gift of honoring me with going shoppping with you for our baby!!!

Love you!!

Yay for neutral stuff! At least we know that baby will be well-dressed--even if (s)he doesn't learn the thumbs-up pre-birth!

I too am a Carter's fan. I think 95% of the clothes Nathan & Alexa wear are from there. Won't it be fun when you can do gender specific shopping!!! Everything you got is super cute!

just wait until you find out the sex...then you really start shopping!!!!

I love all the clothes but don't go to crazy. That way if you find out the sex you can really go crazy!! Baby shopping is so much fun especially with Grandma.

speeking of onesie's, they didn't have an adult large by any chance, did they?

Chap and Heather said...

HAHA! Yes, Normie...I'm still on the hunt for your adult size onesie. You and the baby will be precious in your matching outfits!
