This weekend, we went home to Greenville for my dad’s 58th birthday. We always have so much fun when we go home, there’s always some sort of game that takes place…basketball, corn hole, baseball, Frisbee, cards, or Monopoly (Gourley’s like games!) My dad, who I swear gets younger each year, got a new bicycle for his birthday! I don’t know a great deal about bikes, I just know he was almost as excited about this bike as he was when he got his Harley a couple years ago! (Which is great, b/c this bike looks a little safer than the Harley!)

Ha! Ya'll are funny, but true... Norm has some good grass! Chap gets grass envy every time we go home. I have to remind him that we're in a drought so we aren't allowed to have pretty grass like that yet. =)
How fun! You all seem to be a really close family:) We "Foxes" are gamers too! Every time my side of the family gets together we play tons of games! Baseball and Nerts are our favorites! What is corn hole? I don't think I've ever heard of that game.

Corn Hole is a simple, but fun game...I think your kids could even play! You basically just throw a corn filled sac into a hole..it's a lot like horse shoes with the point system. Chap makes them for fun and they've become a real hit with our friends!! He made this set for my parents for Christmas (you can barely see one in the pictures).

Yea! I loved seeing pics of the whole Gourely family...I miss y'all! Happy B-day to your dad! He hasn't cahnged a bit...he looks the exact same as he did almost 8 years ago when I saw him last. Wow...8 years! Can you believe that?! Glad y'all had a fun weekend.

Corn hole sounds fun! Nerts is a speed card game that a whole bunch of people can play at once. Each person has their own deck of cards and you can even play in teams of two if you want. Its pretty intense and tons of fun:) I'm sure you could google it to learn the rules--I bet your family would really like it!
